The Akechi Railway operates between Ena and Akechi, and includes eleven stops. The main attraction is the excellent scenery that can be viewed from the train windows. The railcars run through mountains and forests, and also travel up a sloping hillside. People cannot help but take pictures of the beautiful village scenery, and appreciate this Japanese landscape.
The Akechi Railway provides a special lunchtime dining experience where passengers may enjoy a meal prepared with local ingredients in the railcars. These services operate every day except Mondays (excluding Mondays that are a national holiday). Fees include your train ticket and a meal. Reception is closed once all the seats are fully booked.
