The Mino Washi Akari Art Festival is an annual competition held in Mino City where Mino Washi paper-lantern art created by artists from all across Japan are exhibited in the city’s Udastsu Wall Historical District – this creates a beautiful dreamlike atmosphere that can only be experienced during the festival or at the Mino Washi Akari Art Gallery.
With this year’s unforeseen circumstances the festival is being held in two parts to ensure the safety of everyone.
