A stimulating feast of lights for the eyes and soul!

The main attraction of this gallery is the collection of works of art that received prizes during the Mino Washi “Akari” Art Exhibition that happens in Mino every October.

There is a rest area and souvenir shop selling Mino Washi goods on the first floor, and the second floor is a museum that displays a selection of the “Akari” paper light sculptures that were shown off during the exhibition.

Enjoy these soft and heart-warming “Akari” works of art, made using traditional Mino Washi paper.

Touching the exhibits is forbidden, but feel free to take as many pictures as you like!
