See a blade be forged before your very eyes!

Watch the master bladesmiths of Seki practice their craft and be enthralled as you see them pound raw steel and make sparks fly through their demonstration of traditional sword-making techniques that have been passed down for over 700 years. Afterwards, since it takes more than just the blacksmiths to create a complete sword, make sure to see the blade-sharpening and sheath-making masters work their magic inside of the museum.

On days that forging events are held, admission to the Traditional Swordsmith Museum itself is free.
