Spring brings with it a potpourri of floral delights and it’s the wisteria’s time to shine in late April to early May!

Did you know that Takehana Betsuin Temple in Hashima is home to a great wisteria tree said to be over 300 years old? Its branches cover a length of over 30 meters, providing ample shade and lovely aromas. It is the centerpiece of the Mino Takehana Wisteria Festival that’s happening very soon!

– Tea ceremony from 10am to 4pm
– Daily food and drinks corner from 10am to 4pm
– Daily light up event happening from 6:30pm ~ 9pm (until April 29th)
