It’s the wisteria’s time to shine in late April to early May!

Did you know that Takehana Betsuin Temple in Hashima is home to a great wisteria tree that’s said to be over 300 years old? The wisteria branches stretch out over 30 meters in length, providing ample shade and lovely aromas. It is the centerpiece of the Mino Takehana Wisteria Festival that’s happening very soon. Entrance is free!
