Renovation for a brand new area at the Shinhotaka Ropeway has been completed and opened to the public! Presenting the “Itadaki no Mori” (Forest of the summit) – which features:

  • A terrace area with wooden decks surrounded by a primeval forest at an altitude of over 2,000m
  • A counter deck where you can see the cable cars moving along
  • A table bench where you can enjoy a meal completely immersed in nature
  • The Yari no kairo deck, shaped like a protruding boomerang, granting you a superb, unparalled view of the Yari Mountain Range.

Also, it’s excellent timing to view the autumn foliage at Shinhotaka Ropeway so be sure to check it out as soon as you can!
