Gain access to the great Northern Japanese Alps on Nohi Bus and ride on Japan’s highest altitude road!
From here, many beautiful spots are just a short walk from the Tatamidaira parking lot, making it a perfect place for hikers of all levels! Hike to one of the many peaks to see a sea of clouds below, or from Mt. Kengamine (3,026m), you might even catch a glimpse of Mt. Fuji in the distance.
Discover an alpine landscape at the Alpine Flower Field, where, if you’re lucky, you might even spot the rare rock ptarmigan!
To protect this precious environment, this road is closed to private vehicles, so we recommend taking Nohi Bus!
The Norikura Skyline is open from May 15th to October 31st, 2026!
