Nestled along a tranquil riverside, Hanedani Dan Dan Park is rich in natural beauty and offers something for every season. Located between the Erosion Prevention Museum and a rugged boulder-packed dam, this valley is not only a place to relax but also a space to learn and appreciate the local environment.
While beautiful year-round, spring is undoubtedly the best time to visit. The riverside blossoms in shades of pink as around 1,600 cherry trees bloom. Peak cherry blossom viewing time is from early to late April! You can also enjoy approximately 1,000 yaezakura (double-flowered cherry trees), which continue blooming into late April.
