While Mino is bustling with the Mino Festival, and in Takayama, the Takayama Festival, Ogaki will be beginning preparations for the Ogaki Festival in about a month’s time! With a history of over 360 years and a UNESCO designation, it’s a great annual Gifu event you’d definitely want to catch.
The festival is famous for 13 “yama” festival floats that are expertly crafted and are equipped with stages for dancing and “karakuri” marionette dolls. Expect various festival stalls that each have some great refreshments to offer too!
