For four nights only, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Shirakawa-go is will host its 40th annual Winter Light-up Event.

🚫 Important Rules to Follow
• No drone photography
• Winter tires (studded snow tires) are mandatory for all vehicles
• No stopping or dropping off passengers outside designated areas
• Take your garbage home — no trash bins in the village
• No smoking or fireworks
• Do not enter private property — residents live here year-round
