Spring has sprung and it’s the wisteria’s time to shine, going on from the 12th to early May!
Did you know that Takehana Betsuin Temple in Hashima is home to a great wisteria tree said to be over 300 years old? Its branches cover a length of over 30 meters. It is the centerpiece of the Mino Takehana Wisteria Festival! It’s very easy to visit as it’s very close to Gifu Hashima Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen line!

– Tea ceremony from 10am to 4pm
