For four days each August, Gero Onsen celebrates the vibrant Gero Onsen Festival! This exciting celebration is packed with performances, traditions and unforgettable summer moments!
DAY 1: The Ryujin Fire Festival (Fire Dragon God Festival)
The highlight of the festival! Five dragon figures and portable shrines parade through town, culminating at Shirasagi Bridge with glowing torches, sparks flying from firecrackers, and energetic dance performances.

DAY 2: Enjoy traditional Gero Odori dances and other cultural performances throughout the town.
DAY 3: Gero Onsen Fireworks Musical Summer Performance
